Pilates
I didn't sweat.
I realized I have absolutely no stomach muscles whatsoever.
I realized (at the time) that I have strong kick-ass legs.
I decided that this was a class I would do every Monday.
8 hours after class I went back and kicked it up in sweat on the ARC trainer. Then I did a few hamstring stuff on the Nautilus machine.
This morning I had to crawl down the stairs.
So much for the kick-ass strong legs.
My stomach hurts too.
Feels good.

Pilates: Poses I Learn (And Then Endure Suffering)?
thanks for stopping by! After reading your profile story and most recent blog entry I am thrilled at all of the goals you have reached!!
SO what are your goals for 2008. Run another HM and PR by another 2 minutes!! you could so do it you know. maybe go a further distance and get sucked into this mad world I am now in. The trails TOTALLY ROCK!!!!
So you are super sore... that is a good sign :)
I was the same doing yoga the other morning for the first time. I thought it would be a piece of piss, it wasn't, I felt muscles I had forgotten had existed.
Pilates is so good for waking up those muscles you didn't know you had!
